Within the interests of our founders, the mission of the Tarrant Foundation is to create opportunity, help meet basic needs, and improve the lives of people in Vermont. In all matters, the Foundation's guiding principles are personal and fiscal responsibility.
Programs and organizations supported by the Tarrant Foundation range from small, volunteer-based community initiatives to large institutions. All have in common a clear mission of service and the ability to maximize the impact of each charitable dollar invested.
The Tarrant Foundation primarily makes grants in the fields of human service and education.
